Precision Door has always given great service, both when they installed a new motor and door-opening system five years ago and recently when we needed service. Austin, the young man who came to our house, was extremely courteous and efficient, and we appreciated the text and phone updates regarding their visit that day. Scheduling online was easy and fast. Paid $184 for an incomplete repair. Expected me to wait with door unoperational for 4 weeks while waiting for part. Charge for completed repair would be $987 and a 4 week wait, but for the work today was $184. I couldn’t have my garage door remain closed for four weeks so I contacted a private contractor with sheet metal experience who repaired door within 5 minutes and reconnected the door to motor. Within 5 minutes door operational again. Why couldn’t repairman do this today for the 184 charge? Ad says 24/7 service. Thats not true either. Called with emergency and they couldn’t respond til after 11:00 the following day. I didn’t want to post a negative review but the company solicited a review from my service call on how our repair went…so here it is.

Honestly I just looked online and found this company. From the beginning to the end the customer service was very AMAZING. The technician was very helpful, nice and knowledgeable about everything. Professional and respectful technician, even it was expensive customer service was GRRREAT!!!

Called them and came right out just a couple hours after I called. Inspected all equipment . Needed a new opener he had one on trunk and new springs. Had everything hooked up and running within 2 hours great service and price

I have a garage door that is broke. I sent my info online and within 15 minutes they called and was sending someone over within the hour. The tech arrived on time and looked at the door and suggested that if we repaired the broken section of the door that it would eventually fail as well. So he helped us figure out what it was going to take to get a new door, hardware, and opener. We ordered it and are having a complete replacement of our old outdated garage door.

I paid over $500 to them for my garage door repair and I needed a invoice to submit to my warranty company. They could not give me what my warranty company asked for which was breakdown of the labor cost and diagnosis of part take failed. After calling them 4 times and not getting any help then they tell me they cannot give me that information on my invoice. For that reason I will NEVER USE Precision Doors of Baton Rouge again. And by the way their repairman was very good a trying to sell us a brand new garage door for $3000

Disappointed that door operated fine with come to find out just one spring. Then after we replace both springs the door won't function at all, throwing the cables. The technician tells me it becomes the door is slightly bent and binding. I just don't understand how the door operated just fine while "bent" before and now it won't operate at all. Not satisfied at all after paying 350 dollars and have nothing to show for it. Very disappointed.
